North Austin: Arboretum to Round Rock
Posted on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 @ 09:45:37 EDT by Admin
Texas-Todd writes "I live in NW Hills near the Arboretum and work in Round Rock. The route I take is Steck to Burnet, Burnet to Braker, Braker to Metric, Metric to Parmer, Parmer to Lamar, Lamar up to Howard (you have to go on the side of the road to the actual light), cross under the bridge and take the feeder road the rest of the way up to Greenlawn (and over to Dell for me). The best areas with a bike lane are Metric and Parmer...the rest of them you are riding with traffic so be careful. On the way home I cross I-35 by taking Greenlawn back to the feeder of I-35 north, ride up to the intersection and take the turn around bridge. I head down the feeder back to Howard and retrace my route to NW Hills."

Re: Arboretum to Round Rock (Score: 1) by David3636 on Friday, June 20, 2008 @ 19:58:45 EDT (User Info ) | | I live in the same area and will be going to Dell in Round Rock next week. I was wondering if anyone has looked into a hybrid approach combining bike and Cap Metro bus? |
